My dad tilled the dirt in preparation for a backyard garden. Here's a shot of the rototiller. Who says a photo has to stay 4x6? Not me.

Gas pump.JPG
I like this picture. It's fantastic. The sun was setting, the pump hose picked up the colors, the pump hose was dusty, the pump handle was blurry. It all makes high gas prices worthwhile (except for not really at all). I believe this description was, in fact, a sonnet.
Freeway crash
That's my (intact) car on the freeway shoulder. I got hit on the freeway. They closed the 210 for a bit to let emergency vehicles on. Here's what it looked like while I waited to file a police report. I'm ok.

Blue DMV chair.JPG
I waited at the DMV for a long time today. The next row of chairs is framed perfectly in the slits of the chair in front of me.

Student of the Day sticker.JPG
Maybe you can wear the honorary student of the day sticker one day (if you're lucky)!

it's me.JPG
I fell asleep on the couch tonight; this was the only picture I took today, so it's the photo-a-day today.

Sink, shredder, toilet.JPG
With 2 male teachers at my school, it's no wonder the men's restroom has a shredder inside it.

Ceiling window.JPG
the vaulted ceiling at my church. This is about 20 feet tall. My sister Annie took the Isabel street sign; I took this one. I was going to just put her photo up on Photo-a-Day, but I need to keep posting my own shots. So fasten your seatbelts, this is the first Photos-a-Day (two photos).
Isabel la Catolica
My sister (not me) took this picture in Mexico City. She wanted this seen by all on Photo-a-Day; it turns out that people want the world to know that Isabelle my wife is Catholic. That's nice of them--she's world famous now.
